It’s Easter which means students are on holiday, teachers are having a break and schools are generally closed. However, the Easter break is a particularly busy time for Optimum Heating as schools need us to complete plumbing and heating work within this short holiday period. Maintenance or major installations must be completed in time for the start of the new term.
Below are some of the school projects that Optimum Heating have been working on over the Easter Break:
@optimumheating have installed gas fired radiant tube heaters with 32 metres of radiant heating in a gym at Torrington School. Scissor lifts were used to provide elevated work areas and access. Our Heating Engineer’s installed the radiant tubes and our Electrical Engineer completed all of the wiring.
@optimumheating installed this six range commercial gas cooker at Ilfracombe Junior School. This photo shows the gas pressure testing stage of the installation. This cooker could not be installed in term time as it would cause major disruptions to the school’s kitchen service so was installed over the Easter Break.
Next week, Optimum Heating are removing an ageing, heating and domestic hot water generating plant at Park School in Barnstaple. We are replacing the existing inefficient plant with a new, high efficiency, modern system of equivalent output.
Optimum Heating are also completing ongoing servicing work at a number of other schools in Devon in preparation for the new term.
We hope you have a nice Easter break!
