This is a domestic property of cavity wall construction circa 1950 with the most cost effective site for the plant room being in the existing space constrained undercroft.
Boiler and system
A high efficiency Vigas log boiler was installed in the basement with two 500litre buffer tank.
We connected to an existing heating circuit which was sealed and controlled by new time and temperature controls. Domestic hot water was supplied by a single instantaneous heater coil in first buffer vessel providing 30l/m.
This project was funded by the customer who will take advantage of RHI payments.
